Staff
Mr Ahmad Dib
Deputy Manager
I have been working as a Deputy Manager at Ashley House for nearly four years and have been working for Bupa for 17 years.
I am passionate about what I do and nothing makes me happier than to see residents looking their very best every day. Smiling and happy living in a care home environment.
When I am not at Ashley House, my wife and I like to entertain our friends. I am passionate about food and really enjoy cooking. I like travelling and my favourite place is the Philippines which is where my wife is from and where we met 26 years ago.
Family is very important to me.
Ms Sharon Morgan
General Manager
My name is Sharon Morgan, I qualified as a Nurse in 1993 and my first step onto my management career was at Ashley House.
I am delighted that I have been given the opportunity to become Home Manager. It is where I developed my passion for care for elderly people.
I have undertaken various roles in a diverse range of environments and am committed to provide high standards of quality care.
I encourage my team to share these values and enrich peoples lives putting them at the heart of everything we do.
Mr John Pearce
Maintenance Manager
My name is John and I am responsible for making sure that the home is a safe environment. I am also on hand to deal with smaller maintenance issues as they crop up.
I am usually found wandering around with a hammer in one hand and a screwdriver in the other as I am often called upon to put up personal pictures on walls or a shelf here and there to make sure each room looks and feels like a proper home. I have been working at Ashley House for 10 years now.
Mrs Annie Ruddick
Resident Experience Manager
I am the Resident Experience Manager for Ashley House, I have worked with Bupa for almost two years now and consider Ashley House as my home too. I am passionate about how we care for the elderly and how we, as a company, can engage with the aging local community around us.
Originally from London, I have spent the majority of my working life in a customer focused role to include three years as a Care Assistant and my ethos is to provide, maintain and deliver an outstanding service to all of my residents.
Our values are quite simply to ensure that you or your loved one are treated with respect, dignity and kindness in a safe, friendly environment, where nothing is too much trouble. Independence is promoted and activities are catered to suit individual interests that we then try to encourage others to take part in and enjoy too. Baking cookies I have to say is my favourite … the smell is intoxicating but they don’t last long!
Arts and Crafters and Biscuit Bakers are more than welcome to come and stay with us.
We are perfectly located in the heart of Cirencester to enjoy its outstanding architectural beauty, retail therapy and abundance of coffee shops to tell everyone that you have visited, though my coffee pot is always on and won’t cost you anything! ? But of course nothing beats a nice stroll through the Abbey Grounds on a bright day.
I very much look forward to meeting you and your family to show you around our beautifully refurbished home, where friendship, kindness and understanding are standard practice twenty four hours a day.
