I have worked in the healthcare sector for many years, in both public and independent services. As an experienced General Manager, I am extremely passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care to residents and ensuring the highest standards of support. Residents should have the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest. I thoroughly enjoy working with residents, their loved ones and the staff team here at Epsom Beaumont.

I am excited to leverage my current skills on a wider basis here at Barchester. This company has a good reputation for delivering high quality care and I love working with my team to achieve the Barchester goals.

I am very proud of my career achievements and establishing myself in a very complex and compliance-driven industry.

Mr Paul Del Rio

Head of Maintanence

My name is Paul Del Rio, I have been working at Epsom Beaumont over a year. I am the Head of Maintenance, my job is challenging but I thrive on it. It’s a joy keeping the care home safe and compliant at all times. I enjoy working with the team and my residents. I am the Health and Safety champion and ensure all staff are trained on Fire and evacuation drills

I have been working here now for just over six years, I enjoy coming to work and take on the new responsibilities I have been tasked. My colleagues are supportive and we work together to provide the best service we can deliver for our residents. There is room to grow in the business, which I love, having been promoted last year myself. I feel the home really has a family feel between staff, residents and families. Its a lovely place to come to every day.

Ms Nikki Harris

Activities Coordinator

Nikki is our Activities Coordinator here at Epsom Beaumont. She is responsible for organising and delivering social activities in the home, which can range from baking cupcakes to running crossword competitions.

Nikki enjoys creating activities programmes that are both mentally physically stimulating for residents. She encourages residents to have an active social life by arranging book clubs, arranging minibus trips and other fun activities. She also takes time to understand residents' needs, likes and dislikes.

I have been qualified general nurse for over 20 years. I have worked in the UK for many years as a nurse and as the Deputy manager for large nursing homes. I enjoy working in the care sector and being hands on, where I could both nurture my team and deliver great outcomes for those we support.

My passion is always strive to ensure anyone in our care receives the safest and highest quality support, and I am excited that Barchester has given me the opportunity to do this.

I have been a member of the team here at Epsom Beaumont for many years and thoroughly enjoy my administrative and front of house role in not only supporting the management team but in welcoming and greeting all visitors to the home. Building relationships with familiies, friends and our residents ensures my days are fullfilled and varied.

Ms Gulcin Sinar

Head Chef at Epsom Beaumont

Gulcin is head chef at Epsom Beaumont in Surrey Downs. As a Care Home chef, she regularly turns out meals for 55 residents, creating award-winning menus that nourish and delight. She is passionate about raising the profile of catering in care and ensuring that the quality and creativity of this area of food provision is not overlooked. Her skill at producing fantastic meals from her kitchen was rewarded when she was named Chef of the Year by the home she was working before.

Gulcin is always available to chat with any families or residents about her work and to answer your questions on the often-challenging nature of feeding those in care settings.

Miss Alina Valentina

I work as a team leader in our memory lane, I have been with Epsom Beaumont for the 4 years and really enjoy the responsibilities I have to manage. We have a dedicated trained dementia specialist team that I help to lead and feel very proud of the care we try to deliver at all times.
