Team Leader

Ensuring that all residents are provided with a high quality of care. Follows individual care plans ensuring that all residents dignity is at all times maintained. Wayne has worked in various roles within the home and is at present helping to lead a team of carers to enhance the life of the residents in the home

All the staff and residents at Laurel Bank are proud and pleased to announce that 2013’s winner of the Barchester Care Awards in the Maintenance Champion category is David Ingle our very own Maintenance Champion. David’s well-deserved recognition was announced at an awards afternoon held in the grand surrounds of Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire. At Laurel Bank, David ensures that the home is consistently well presented and maintained to an exemplary standard. This is also partly down to his excellent maintenance documentation and organisation.

I am a Registered nurse and have worked in the Care Industry for over 20 years. I have recently moved over to Lancaster from the North East to work for Barchester Care. I began my career as a care assistant in 1998 and found that I enjoyed the environment so much I trained to be a nurse then transferred to management. As a Manager of a care home every day is different and at Barchester we endeavour to enhance the life of all of our resident on a daily basis. We incorporate their life history's and endeavour to help residents remain part of their local community.
