Miss Laura Benassi

Admin Assistant

My name is Laura. I started to work in Queens Court in summer 2018. I started as a Care Assistant and I moved as Admin Assistant when I completed my Certificate in Book keeping. I am passionate about my job and I enjoy work closely to the Administration.

Ms Shaaron Caratella

General Manager

I joined Barchester Healthcare in 1998. Prior to that I worked in the NHS where I developed my passion - Care of Older People. After I qualified as an RGN, I continued to develop my career by studying BSc Nursing Studies, Diploma in Orthopaedics and MSc in Health Sciences. The team and I are committed to ensuring that the residents have a good quality of life. This is working with evidence based practices or projects like nutrition, non- pharmaceutical interventions, life story work and we advocate the Whole Home Approach Model. We are proud to have consistently achieved good reports and reviews from those who know us. This is a very happy home and you are very welcome to visit us.

MIss Abbigail Garraway

Care Practitioner

I qualified as the first Care Practitioner at Queens Court Barchester Health Care.This is relatively new role and is very exciting.I support the nurses and contribute to the provision and monitoring of the care of our residents. I am also the training and induction champion for the home.

Mr Gibum Kim

Head Chef

I have been working for Queens Court since 2003. It has been a wonderful journey for me and, through the many challenges, I remained dedicated and have worked on my development to become the chef I am today.

I did not work alone, as I have an amazing and valuable team who work day in and out to make Queens Court the wonderful home that is today, and I am looking forward to what the coming years have to offer.

Mrs Ambreen Masalawalla

Deputy Manager

My name is Ambreen and I am a Nurse since 2005. I did my BScN back home in Pakistan in 2005 and MScN in Clinical Nursing from Kings College London in 2015. I joined Queens Court in 2017 as a RGN and have been recently promoted as Deputy Manager. It has been a great learning experience at QueensCourt.

Mrs Brundha Palanivelu

Head of Hotel Services

I have been working at Queens Court since 2005. During this period of time, I am strong advocate of the Whole Home Approach.We Implemented this model several years ago. It has been my delight to see staff work in different departments, develop their skills and get promoted. But most of all I am passionate about improving the quality of life of my residents. This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team that we have here. I enjoy my job as head of hotel services; it has boosted my confidence and inspires me to achieve more.

Mr Rajindra Sewdatnarie

Head of Maintenance

I have worked for Barchester for over 10 years, where I have gained a wide range of experience in the property services department.

At Queens Court, my responsibilities are to ensure that all statutory requirements are up to date and that safety comes first for everyone in the home.

Mrs Radha Squires

RGN

I am Radha. I am part of Queens Court since 1996. My journey began here as a Care Assistant. I have been provided with numerous learning opportunities and I became a Care Practitioner in 2015. Queens Court recognised my capabilities and I was supported to pursue my dream of becoming a Nurse. I graduated last year 2019 and currently enjoying exploring life of a Nurse. Thanks to Barchester Healthcare, Shaaron Caratella (General Manager) and Queens Court Team for all their support during my career progression.
