Dr Andrew Hall

Implant Dentist

Andrew was brought up in Wales and gained his Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1988 at Cardiff, and then went on to work in several hospital posts in the disciplines of Restorative Dentistry and Maxillo-Facial surgery.  After buidling considerable hospital experience he passed the examinatiion to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992. Andrew then took up an academic post as a lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bristol.  He held this position for several years before moving to private practice in Oxfordshire in 2003.

Andrew is one of only a few clinicians to limit his practice solely to the provision of dental implants.  He placed his first implants in 1993 and is now highly experienced in his field with a success rate exceeding 99%.  He has particular interests in advanced aspects of implant dentistry including bone grafting surgery, computer guided implant surgery and enhanced natural healing using the PRGF technique.

When not at work, Andrew is a keen skier and scuba diver and loves spending his time in the mountains.

Mr Adrian Jones

Dental Practitioner

Adrian was brought up in Rochdale and went to study Dentistry at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 1997.  After working for a year in Todmorden he mover to first Birmingham Dental Hospital working is restorative dentistry for two years, then Shropshire and finally to Gloucestershire, working exclusively in private practice from 2005 onwards.  His postgraduate education includes the MFDS in 2001, the Certificate in Oral Implantology and Prosthetics from the Oxford Society of Implantology in 2009 and the Certificate in Endodontology from the University of Chester in 2015.

As a highly experienced Private Dentist, Adrian can offer you the full range of modern private dental options and is one of the few dentists to work routinely with the aid of an operating microscope that offers unrivaled levels of magnification and precision, particularly useful in cosmetic dentistry and advanced Endodontics.  He has a special interest in Endodontics and is currently studying for the MSc. in Endodontics with the University of Chester, has completed the prestigious British Society of Occlusion Studies year course in dental occlusion in 2013, and is a certified provider enabling him to offer adult orthodontics.

Outside professional life, Adrian is a committed father to his four children, enjoys cycling and climbing, and is particularly fond of cooking (and eating) world cuisine!

Miss Lajja Shah

NHS Dental Practitioner

Lajja graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2003.  She completed her vocational training in a large practice in Royal Leamington Spa, where she remained as an Associate Dentist for a further 14 years, gaining a wide range of experience treating patients with NHS, Denplan and private arrangements.

Lajja enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and continues to maintain her professional personal delelopment by competing a variety of postgraduate courses in various fields.  She was awarded the Membership of the Facility of General Dental Practitioners in 2007.  To further develop her skills and knowledge in complex dentistry she is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Warwick.

Outside of work Lajja enjoys travelling, going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family.

Mr Elliot STEVENS

Dental Practitioner

Elliot joined the practice in 2016 and has proven to be an excellent colleague and a higly skilled clinician.  You may already have met Elliot, as colleagues have referred many surgical treatments to Elliot to make use of his additional talents in that field of practice. 

Elliot was brought up near Aylesbury and before entering dental school he spent a year working in a dental laboratory near his home.  After qualifying in Dentistry from the University of Bristol in 2014 he worked for a year in general practice in Newbury and then took on a surgical post in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department of Royal Stoke Univeristy Hospital.  Elliot is a caring dentist, a good listener and an excellent communicator.

His professional interests are surgical dentistry, endodontics and prosthetic dentistry and he is currently studying for the Tipton Training Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry. Outside of his professional work Elliot lives in Oxford and, as a saxophonist, his main interest is music.

Elliot will as ever be supported by the same team of experienced dental nurses, receptionists and hygienists and is looking forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
