Asthma Clinic - Asthma ClinicASTHMA CLINIC
Asthma clinic appointments are available with the practice asthma nurse. Patients taking regular medication for asthma should make an appointment for a review with the nurse at least annually.
CHILD HEALTH SURVEILLANCE
The wellbeing of young children is cared for through developmental checks carried out by both the doctor and the health visitor. Full immunisation is recommended for all newborn and pre-school children.
Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house - Minor Surgery
Certain types of minor surgical procedures are caried out by the doctors at the practice. An initial consultation with the doctor is requried.
PHLEBOTOMY CLINIC
The practice offers a limited phlebotomy service for those patients who are unable to attend any of a number of alternative clinics in the area.
TRAVEL HEALTH CLINIC
Our practice nurse runs a travel health clinic providing travellers with helpful advice about the requirements for their particular destination. She is also able to administer any travel vaccines that may be required. Patients area advised to complete a 'Travel Health Planner' form at least six weeks prior to the indended date of travel.
