Annual reviews (with GP, Practice Nurse, Podiatrist and Dietitian) are held every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 9.00 - 11.40am.

Six-month reviews (with GP and Practice Nurse only) are held every Friday 9.45 - 11.00am.

Flu Clinics 2019
Please note that this years flu clinics start at Beechwood Medical Centre in October. The first clinic is aimed at over 65's only. This clinic is on Saturday 5th October 2019. No appointment is required so you can just turn up on the day.

The next clinic is on Saturday 19th October 2019, and is intended for over 65s only. No appointment is needed so please just turn up on the day

We also have a clinic on Thursday 24th October 2019, and this in intended for all patients, both under 65 and the over 65s. No appointments required. We will also text or write to all eligible patients nearer the time but respectfully ask that you do not turn up for the flu vaccination if you are not eligible as we have limited supplies.

Contraceptive care is provided by all the doctors during surgery hours. However, Dr Louise King and the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Antonia Watson, have specific family planning training. Dr King and Antonia Watson are also trained in coil fitting and contraceptive implants.

Contraceptive sub-dermal implant insertions and removals are available from Dr King and Antonia Watson

The Medical Centre can perform minor surgery onsite. The following surgery is indicative of what is available;-

Examination, biopsy and removal of suspicious moles, removal of unsightly skin lumps, cysts and skin tags, injection of painful joints, toenail surgery.

To receive any such surgery patients must first visit the surgery for an assessment, this may be achieved by making an appointment with any doctor or nurse.
