Reception Staff
I started working with the Lea Surgery as a receptionist in 2007. My main duties involve dealing with the patients at reception, answering the telephone, booking appointments using the Emis Web system. Scanning documents into the patients records, opening and distributing the post to the relevent departments, faxing documents, dealing with new registrations and doing their health checks; keeping referral folders and appointment folders up to date. I enjoy the rapport with the patients on a daily basis and having satisfaction in knowing that I help to make their visit to the surgery a positive one.
