Dr Will Dolan

Dentist

William graduated from Cardiff dental school in July 2018, after completing his foundation training in Rhondda, South Wales, he joined the team in September 2019.

William's key aims in dentistry are to provide a high standard of minimally invasive, comfortable, general dentistry. In the future he is planning to complete his MJDF examinations and undertake further training in restorative dentistry, sedation, and non-pharmaceutical management of anxious patients.

He is passionate about helping anxious patients get the care they need, both to achieve a healthier smile and to overcome their fears.

Away from the practice, William is a big ice hockey fan, having played and watched most of his life.

Dr Matthew Emmott

Dental Practitioner

Matthew has been practising dentistry for the last twenty five years. During this period, he has undertaken many training courses in advanced restorative dentistry. For the last fifteen years he has developed a special interest in dental implants.

Matthew completed the MFGDP(UK) of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2001, and The Advanced Diploma of Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012.

Matthew is experienced in all aspects of implant dentistry, providing for single dental implant solutions to complex and full jaw cases. Matthew is experienced providing the full range of supporting procedures, such as bone grafting, soft tissue grafts and sinus lifts.

A lot of Matthew's work is associated with placement and immediate restoration of implants, particularly involving computer guided surgery and full jaw reconstruction.

Dr Akshay Gulati

Dentist

Akshay graduated from King's College London (formerly Guy's Hospital) in July 2014 and joined the team in September 2015.

Having trained under the supervision of some of the leaders of the dental field, Akshay aims to deliver the highest standards to all aspects of your general dental care.

Akshay also has a philosophy for minimally invasive dentistry in both aesthetic and restorative domains and aims to always produce aesthetically pleasing dentistry. He also enjoys clinically photography and will use it to help show you the more complex aspects to your oral health.

With a passion for reassuring nervous and anxious patients, he takes pride in helping you overcome your fears on your way to achieving a healthier smile.

Outside of dentistry, Akshay is a keen cook and a lifelong Manchester United supporter. He also enjoys soaking up culture from different cities around the world.

Dr Andrew John

Dentist

Originally from Cheshire Andrew graduated from the Peninsula Dental School in 2012.

Since qualifying he has held posts as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery SHO in the South West and Oxford, within General Dental Practice Andrew particularly enjoys oral surgery and prosthodontics.

Outside dentistry he has a keen interest in mountain biking and likes to travel.

Dr Biranavi Maheswaran

Dentist

Biranavi graduated from King’s College London and completed her training in Esher, Surrey.

Biranavi prides herself in having a relaxed and friendly approach, whilst also striving to deliver the best treatment.

She is passionate about helping patients manage and understand their oral health, so they can confidently make decisions regarding their dental care.

In her spare time, Biranavi enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Alessia Rosewell

Dentist

Alessia graduated from Cardiff University and completed her foundation training in Haddenham, Bucks, before joining the team in September 2019.

She aims to deliver high quality, minimally invasive dentistry, whilst also focusing on reducing any anxiety her patients may have.

She particularly enjoys paediatrics (working with children) and prosthodontics (making dentures) and hopes to further develop these skills with extra training in the near future.

Outside of dentistry, Alessia enjoys going to the theatre and engaging in various sports including cheerleading, ice skating and aerial silks.

Dr. Katerina Rousea

Dentist with practice limited to Orthodontics

Katerina earned a degree in dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. She has more than 16 years' experience practising in the UK NHS as well as privately funded Orthodontics, treating adults and younger patients alike. At Studental, she offers Orthodontic treatments on a private basis only. She has recently completed the European Masters of Aligners Course and is a certified Invisalign provider, a member of British Orthodontic Society and European Aligner Society.

Katerina prides herself in truly listening to and addressing her patients' concerns and practises within a comfortable, relaxing, state of the art dental clinic. She finds extremely rewarding the life enhancing effect and increased confidence her patients present with following – or even during – their bespoke orthodontic treatment. In addition to Invisalign full range of treatments, Katerina also offers highly aesthetic ceramic fixed appliances (passive and self ligating) as well as removable appliances (including Inman Aligner) to address all patients' needs.

Sophia Spriggs

Dental hygienist and therapist

Sophia graduated in 2018 with first class honours in Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She first began her career in dentistry over 10 years ago as a dental nurse, gaining additional qualifications throughout. During this time, she realised that she wanted to work more directly with her patients which led her to follow her passion to become a dental hygienist and therapist.

Sophia is passionate about all aspects of dental hygiene and therapy and takes pride in providing a caring, relaxed but professional approach with all patients. She works hard to be at the forefront of her profession and has a strong commitment to keeping up to date to provide patients with the best techniques and treatment that modern day dentistry has to offer.

Outside of dentistry Sophia enjoys spending time with friends and family.

She also enjoys taking her two dogs out for long country walks.

Dr Sahil Thakkar

Dentist

Sahil qualified from King's College London in 2015 and completed his foundation training in Bedford.

He strives to provide high-quality Dentistry to his patients and has developed a keen interest in Endodontics (Root canal treatments) and Fixed Prosthodontics (Crowns & Bridges).

With his friendly and reassuring demeanour, Sahil works with well anxious patients and children to ensure that everyone leaves the surgery smiling.

Sahil is currently undertaking the postgraduate MJDF examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In the near future he hopes to undertake further postgraduate training in Sedation and Restorative Dentistry.

Dentist

Graduate of the Medical Academy of Warsaw, Poland. 

Anna is a bilingual dentist treating English and Polish speaking patients.

As a mother of six Anna is very keen to work with children of all ages.
