Dr. Shaffu graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain in 2011 and went on to complete his foundation training in Malta. Siater Jane Gaskell

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Jane is a fully trained nurse practitioner and is able to deal with many minor ailments that don’t necessarily need the attention of a doctor. Jane runs a daily minor injuries clinic.

Jane also works with Lorraine McNally  to provide complementary services including immunisations, health checks and advice, ear syringing, taking bloods and dressings.

The nursing staff also provide travel health advice, healthy lifestyle advice, the taking of smears and manage the care of patients suffering from asthma/COPD, diabetes and heart conditions.

Wilmslow Health Centre has nurses who run regular monitoring clinics for patients who have asthma. All patients who have asthma are monitored regularly to keep their symptoms under control and to prevent acute attacks. Wilmslow Health Centre has consistently scored 100%(QOF) for the quality of its asthma care since 2004.

Wilmslow Health Centre has dedicated, experienced Respiratory nurses who run regular monitoring clinics to ensure patients with COPD have their condition under control and that their treatment is optimosed.

General ear, nose and throat clinic delivered by a leading ENT consultant from Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Wilmslow Health Centre is now offering patients the convenience of having minor surgical procedures on site. Our experienced doctors are able to deal with many minor skin conditions that may require minor surgery without the need for a general anaesthetic.

Pharmacy run by The Co-Operative.

Occassionaly blood tests may be requested by your practice nurse or doctor. Once these requests have been made, you may book an appointment with the phlebotomist to have your blood taken.
