This service requires a referral by your GP

Every Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 3pm the visiting healthcare professional holds a 'New Baby Clinic'.

These clinics are for child development checks and immunisation advice and allow an opportunity to discuss other problems eg sleeping, feeding and child health worries.

If treatment or vaccinations are advised then you may be referred to either the Practice Nurse or GP and a appointment will be necessary.

Appointments:

No appointment is necessary, however this is a first come first seen clinic and you must be at the surgery at least 20 minutes before the end of the clinic to guarantee being seen. When attending please be sure to obtain a 'numbered ticket' from reception.

Our Health Care Assistants have been trained by a qualified Chiropodist to offer toe-nail cutting to less mobile patients that are unable to cut their own.

To book this service please speak to our reception team.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service to patients diagnosed with Diabetes, Prothrombin Time (PT) or those on warfarin.

Please note: This service is not provided by the NHS and a charge of £20 is payable to the practice.

Appointments should be made with the Practice Nurse.

Staff have been fully trained in providing this sensitive service to young people. Teenagers are welcome at the surgery where we offer a friendly and strictly confidential service, including sexual health advice and sexual health screening. Common sexually transmitted infections can be screened for without the need for an examination.

All patients, including under 16yrs, maybe seen by a doctor or nurse either alone, with a friend or you may request a chaperone. Every consultation with be dealt with in the strictest confidence.

We also operate the C-Card scheme, which means, that once you have registered for the scheme, we are able to provide free condoms together with other registered sites across the city.
