The child health department will send out an appointment when a baby is due to have his or her  8 week child health assessment.
The assistant practitioner will first weigh and then measure the baby's height before the doctor completes the remaining health check. Following the health check a practice nurse will immunise the baby and provide you with any relevant immunisation information.
Please remember to bring the red book with you so that the assessment and immunisation details can be recorded. A copy of this information will be sent by the practice to the child health department so that they can update you baby's health record. This will ensure that they can send out further appointments when the next immunisation is due.
Please rmember to bring the red book  each time you attend,

Appointments will be sent out to parents by the Child Health Department when children are due to have their childhood or pre-school vaccinations.
If the date and time are not convenient, please contact the surgery and we will be able to offer an alternative date. 
 

Minor Surgery is by appointment with Dr Hampson, Dr Moghal or ANP Peter Smith following a GP assessment. Patient details will be taken and their name and contact details will be added on to a waiting list. Patients will be contacted at a later date and offered the next available appointment..

The practice is a registered Yellow Fever Centre and provides other vaccinations for travel to our own and other practices patients. for more details please contact the surgery and speak to one of our Practice Nurses
