If you require a coil (Copper IUCD/ Mirena IUS), fitted or removed please make an appointment with Sue Stannard our Sexual Health Specialist. Clinics run alternate Thursday afternoons.
Patients wishing to have an IUCD fitted will be asked to see the nurse for screening swabs prior to fitting. See website for info Link
If one of our GP's feel that your condition can be treated by minor surgery you will be asked to go back to reception and give your name to our reception staff who will place you on the minor surgery list. Surgeries run roughly once a month depending on numbers.
Phlebotomy - Phlebotomy (Blood tests)All blood tests are taken in the morning as they are collected by the lab at lunchtime. If you require a fasting test, please ensure you let reception know so that they can prioritise an early slot for you. We take bloods on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Primary care counselling service - Counselling serviceThe surgery has access to a Counsellor, however, you will need a GP appointment to be referred for this service.
