Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant) - IUD Clinic
IUCDs (coils) are fitted in designated clinics after consultation with a doctor or nurse.
We are able to perform joint injections, toenail surgery, cryo- cautery (with liquid nitrogen) , electro-cautery (with a hot wire) as well as excisions (scalpel cutting) of skin lumps.
If you're trying to give up smoking, we can help. Please ask for an appointment with our smoking cessation advisor or the practice nurse.
The Practice Nurses will look at your travel needs and assess:
which vaccines you will need
what travelling advice to give you
and whether anti-malarial tablets are needed.
Please allow at least 6 weeks before the date of your holiday to visit our travel clinic or longer if your schedule is complicated and lengthy.
