Please register your baby with your own GP as soon as possible to receive GP advice or an appointment. Dr Fozard runs a baby clinic to check your child’s development at the age of 8 weeks. Our Practice Nurse also runs a childhood immunisation clinic at the same time. It is very important that your child receives all of their immunisations. Please ask the Health Visitor or your doctor if you need further information or visit www.immunisation.nhs.uk. The Health Visitors also support parents with small children and run a weekly Well Baby Clinic.

Learning disability health checkMinor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house
Dr Langton performs minor surgical procedures during a weekly “minor op” clinic and we also carry out cryotherapy when appropriate for the removal of moles, warts and other small skin lesions. To be referred to either clinic please make an appointment with your doctor first during their normal surgery times.

PhlebotomyTreatment Room appointments are available for investigations and treatment requested by your Doctor (blood tests, ear irrigation, wound dressings etc), weekdays (Mon-Fri). Specimens must be received by 12 noon. Please label clearly (full name, date of birth and doctor) and deliver directly to the Treatment Room Reception counter.

Travel health with yellow feverA Travel Clinic is held by Nurse Sue Barnes for travel health advice on Malaria Prevention and travel vaccinations. We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre. Some vaccinations need to be given well in advance of travelling, so please check you requirements as early as possible by contacting us at least 6-8 weeks before your departure. Some vaccinations and prescriptions are not available under the NHS and charges will apply. Please ask at our Reception for details – all fees are payable at the time of consultation and we accept cash, cheques, debit cards and most credit cards. The only reason why we might pass on your confidential information without your permission would be to protect you or someone else from very serious harm. Young people aged 16-24 are at risk of measles and mumps. Make an appointment with a Practice Nurse. Contraception: We offer a full range of contraception and sexual health advice, including free emergency contraception,which you can also get from most pharmacies. Just make an appointment with a doctor or nurse.
