Bindi  qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2001. She then worked in general practice in London and Hertfordshire. She became the Principal Dental Surgeon of Ashwell Dental Surgery in October 2004 and is completed her MFGDP qualification in November 2007. Bindi is very passionate about dentistry and has the constant desire and drive to learn new and exciting techniques. She enjoys working with nervous patients and children helping them to reduce their anxiety.

As Ashwell Dental Surgery’s reputation for quality care grew, in 2006 she expanded the practice from two surgeries to four in order to meet demand.

Bindi became the Co-Principal Dental Surgeon of Hoddesdon Dental Surgery in April 2007 and became the Prinicipal Dental Surgeon of Great Shelford Dental Surgery in December 2012 and for Harlow Dental Surgery in November 2014.

Bindi has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in September 2009 she completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry.  She undertakes the restorative part of implants and is also a Clear braces and six months smile practitioner.

Bindi is always happy to discuss in confidence with patients and prospective patients any issues they may have clinical or non clinical.

Dr Vishal Sachania

Dental Practitioner

Vishal qualified from Cardiff University in 2011 and began working at Brecon Community hospital, treating anxious children and vulnerable adults with complex needs. He carried out his vocational training in Swansea and continued to work in South Wales as a private dentist.

In 2012 he gained a Membership of the joint dental faculties from the royal college of surgeons. In 2016 he obtained a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Manchester. He has spent the last few years developing an extensive portfolio in dental implant placement and restoration.

Vishal is an enthusiastic dentist. He finds his job very rewarding and thrives to provide his patients with comprehensive evidence based treatment. He enjoys treatment planning and problem solving, to help patients with difficult requirements.

Vishal is a keen cyclist and spends his summers on the continent training or taking part in sportives.

Dr Nicola Courtney-Jones

Dental Practitioner

Nicola graduated from Leeds University in 1991. She has worked at Histon Dental Surgery since 2008.

Nicola completed a year course in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and likes to keep up to date with all aspects of general dentistry.

Outside of work Nicola likes to keep fit, cookery and spending time with her family.

Dr Melanie Knibbs

Dental Practitioner

Melanie qualified from the University of Sheffield with BDS honours in 2013. She has completed Part 1 of the MJDF qualification and has recently completed the Nigel Hargreaves restorative course. 

Melanie likes to ensure her patients feel at ease during treatment and reduce any anxiety they may have when visiting the dentist.    Outside the world of dentistry, Melanie enjoys running; travelling and sugarcraft wedding cake decorating.

Dr Daniela Pereira

General Practitioner

Daniela graduated in 2004 in Porto- Portugal.  Daniela is currently finishing an Aesthetic Dentistry Master (MSc) in Kings College London.

Daniela is a general dentist with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. She is an Invisalign provider and provides non-surgical aesthetic (Botox and fillers).

Since 2010 Daniela is looking after UK patients providing best patient needs and improving smiles.

Daniela is a happy and enthusiastic mum of two little girls, enjoys traveling and spend time with family and friends.

Dr Ines Riberiro

General Practitioner

Ines is an enthusiastic dentist that has been providing treatments for her patient since she qualified in Oporto in 2005. 

She has finished her  pos-graduation in Orthodontics and her Invisalign Provider Certificate in 2008 and underwent a master in Clear Orthodontics in November 2018, she is a member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Meanwhile she also, gained skills in areas like cosmetic dentistry, using multiple layering technique in composite restorations.

Her main area of interest is to change lifes, changing patients smiles.

In her spare time, she loves spend time with family and friends

She is married and a proud mum of two fantastic boys.

She loves travel, running and jogging as well as photography.

Dr Sheylla Brito

General Practitioner

Sheylla graduated in Oporto (Portugal) in 2007. Since, she post graduated in Periodontology (2008), Implantology (2011) and Aesthetics and Oral Rehabilitation (2016). Sheylla also attended to different hands on courses in the field of Facial aesthetics (Botox and dermal fillers) in UK. She attended to advanced hands on courses in the implantology area in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and UK.  Sheylla loves improving patients’ smile and confidence. She uses Straumann implants and she is also an Implant and PLVE mentor for the NHS. Sheylla is married to a pharmacist and has a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and also travelling.

Dr Tasmin Rashid

General Practitioner

Tasmin qualified from Cardiff University in 2011. During her time here she was involved with several placements including a Maxillofacial Surgery rotation at Plymouth hospital and also worked at a community clinic at Wrexham. 

She carried out her vocational training in Wales and enjoyed treating a wide range of patients, young and old and here she was able to develop her clinical skills further. 

Following this she carried out some additional postgraduate training at Kings College Dental Hospital London in 2013, during her DFY2. She was an SHO (Senior house officer) with clinics on several departments including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Paediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. She also carried out many treatments under IV sedation. 

Following her time there she has been working in General Dental Practice and in particular enjoys treating anxious patients and children. She is an enthusiastic learner and hopes to further her clinical development in Oral Surgery as well as other areas in Dentistry. 

Tasmin is married and has two young children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cycling and singing.

Dr Marylene Cotta

Dentist

Marylene has over 15 years of experience in both NHS and private clinical services in the UK and India.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in 1997 and was awarded the Cristovam da Gama Barreto gold medal in Prosthodontics. She was also the first women President of the Indian Dental Association for the state of Goa.

Her interests include Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Cosmetics and Conservative dentistry.

Marylene is a friendly and approachable dentist who aims to provide the best possible dental care to her patients, whilst maintaining a comfortable environment for them.

She is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys playing the piano and baking.

Miss Amie Holder

Hygienists

Amie Holder is from a small market town in North Yorkshire and moved to Cambridge after university. Cambridge is place that she has grown to love and call it her home.

She has been working within dentistry since 2007 initially as a dental nurse which created a passion for oral health which made her further her studies culminating in graduating in dental hygiene and therapy from Sheffield university in 2012.

She has worked at Histon Dental Surgery since April 2016. It's a pleasure to be able to work within such a close knitted team where it is clear patients needs and interests are second to none and clearly this is a number one priority.

You will find her working on Thursdays. Her main points of interests are maintenance of implants,airflow and periodontal disease.

Amie is able to carry out Direct access which enables patients to see her who are not registered with the dentist at Histon Dental Surgery. 

Outside of work she enjoys horse riding with her Fiancé, vice captain for Over2 netball team and she is currently studying the Portuguese language!

Mrs Debora Butler

Hygienists

Deborah qualified in 1982 in the WRAF and completed 10 years service.

Since then Deborah has worked in NHS, Private and Corporate Dentistry as well as 5 years in a specialist referral practice.

Deborah's particular clinical interests are in treating advanced Periodontal disease, maintaining dental implants and tooth whitening. Deborah is also qualified to do Facial Aesthetics.

As Deborah lives a few metres from Thetford Forest her favourite pastime is cycling there, she also enjoys cross country skiing, Jazzercise, reading and is an experienced sugar crafter.
