Dr. Dinesh Kapoor is the senior partner and GP Training Lead for the Practice.  Dr Kapoor has been practising in Leyton since 1982 and has seen the growth in the practice from a handful of patients to currently over 13,500. Dr Kapoor has held many senior posts in the NHS and is currently a Clinical Director for Waltham Forest CCG

Special clinical interests are treating High Blood Pressure, Prevention of Coronary Heart Diseases and management of Type II Diabetes.

Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

All families with children under five have a health visitor. The health visitors run child health clinics and group health education classes. They offer support and advice on child development, managing difficult behaviour and general parenting skills. Baby clinics are currently held at Leyton Green clinic and Langthorne Health Centre.

Vaccination is vital. It provides life-long protection against serious infectious diseases, (some potentially fatal). Your children will be sent appointments to attend sessions at the Surgery when they are due.
If you cannot attend, or miss a session please make another appointment with the Practice Nurse at a more convienient time.
Please ensure you remember to bring your child's Red Book when you attend for immunisation appointments

The Practice is a joint Provider of Specialist Dermatology Services and is supported by the Whipps Cross Hospital Consultant Dermatologist to offer the service throughout the Borough of Waltham Forest. Dr Rashid is a GPwSI (GP with Special Interest in Dermatology) and holds 2 clinics a week, one at Leyton Healthcare and the other at Langthorne Health Centre. A dermatology minor operations clinic is also held on a weekly basis.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Leyton Healthcare provides a Minor Surgery facility to many other Practices within Waltham Forest. Dr Rashid, is an accredited GPwSI in Minor Surgery and Dermatology. Your GP may refer you to one of the specialist clinics within the Practice.

If you plan to go abroad, please discuss your need for vaccination at least two months beforehand so the Practice Nurse can arrange a full course of immunisation.

Leyton Healthcare is a registered Yellow Fever Centre.
In addition to the service being available to Practice patient, Leyton Healthcare also provides a service for non-registered patients. There is a charge for this vaccination. please contact our Reception Team on 0208 430 8282
