Tricia is our senior practice nurse with many years experience in general practice. She is responsible for the asthma, COPD and diabetic clinics as well as supervision of the nursing team. She is nursing lead on dressings and wound care, smears, child vaccinations, travel advice, stop smoking advice and support, family planning and HRT advice.

Services

Tricia Is asthma trained and sees asthma patients at times to suit the patient. We do not hold specific clinic times, but try to work around the availability of the individual.

Tricia is COPD trained and sees COPD patients at times to suit the patient. We do not hold specific clinic times, but try to work around the availability of the individual.

All the doctors and nurses provide general contraceptive advice including Implanon/IUD/coil/IUS advice. Dr Coker And Dr Viswanathan will fit them by appointment any day of the week. Please ask at reception for more details

Patients need to see the doctor first before being put on the list for the procedure.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Blood samples can be taken by all our nurses. Collections have to be taken by 11 am to enable them to be collected and transported to the hospital path lab by the courier service.

Tricia and Donna are trained to give advice and support on stopping smoking. A quit smoking pack can be collected from reception and the surgery/patient agreement signed and returned. An appointment will then be made at a convenient time for the patient. The first appointment is for 30 minutes and subsequent apointments are for 10 minutes.

Tricia is travel-adviser trained and sees people at times to suit the patient. We do not hold specific clinic times, but try to work around the availability of the individual. The surgery is an accredited Yellow Fever Centre. We can only provide travel immunisations for patients who are registered at the practice.
