Mrs Nazeera Patel

Healthcare Assistant

Nazeera joined the practice in January 2018.  She carries out blood tests, BP checks, new patient medicals and diabetic checks.  She will also be helping out during the flu season vaccinating patients.

Samantha intially trained in Salford.  She has undertaken various further courses of study.  She is mainly involved in chronic disease management, travel health, new patient medicals and health promotion.  Samantha is also a nurse prescriber.

Mrs Andrea Farnworth

Andrea carried out her initial nurse training at the Royal Preston Hospital. She qualified in 1991. Prior to this role, she worked as a treatment room nurse.  She is mainly involved with primary prevention screening, cervical smears, child immunisations, travel health and new patient medicals.

Danielle completed her nurse training at Uclan and qualified in 2014. She is mainly involved in chronic disease management, child immunisations, womens health and travel health. Danielle is also a nurse prescriber.

To arrange an appointment for Child Immunisations please contact Brownhill Surgery on 01254 247477.

Although we will see patients for COPD review during any of the nurse surgeries, the initial appointment for diagnosis is offered on a Tuesday afternoon as this requires 45 minutes per patient.
