Diabetes Clinic providing insulin initiationAs well as seeing newly diagnosed diabetics (including insulin initiation), patients are invited to a clinic to see our GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Health Care Assistant to discuss the management of their diabetes including assessment of; high blood pressure, cholesterol level, blood glucose control, review of medication, problem solving, weight management and dietary advice and education regarding diabetes. Most appointments are 30 minutes long to allow a full and holistic review.
