Baby clinic with health visitor
Child health and development - Midwife

Midwife clinics

An appointment should be made with the midwife once your pregnancy has been confirmed. Your midwife will offer advice and run clinics for antenatal monitoring. Deliveries are at Salisbury District Hospital. It is important to have a postnatal check 6 weeks after the birth. Please make an appointment via reception.

Child Immunisations - Baby Immunisations

All immunisations for children are offered by the practice. The Community Child Health Services will advise you when an appointment is due and what immunisations are required. Please contact us to arrange a convenient appointment with one of our practice nurses.

COPD clinic with spirometry - Respiratory Clinic

Dedicated clinics are held by nurses with specialist training in asthma and COPD.
Appointments can be made via reception.

Learning disability health check
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant) - Contraception

All our doctors and nurses are able to provide contraceptive advice. If you have chosen to use the contraceptive pill we would like you to be seen by one of the doctors for your first appointment.

We fit caps/diaphragms and provide depo contraceptive injections. We also offer coil (IUD) and Mirena (IUS) fittings/removals and now offer long term contraceptive implants (Nexplanon).

If you are considering a coil, Mirena or an implant, please make an appointment to discuss this with the doctor first, as the timing of fitting is important.

For Long Acting Reversible Contraception Advice visit our website.

Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house - Minor Surgery

Minor operations and cryo-therapy are offered at the surgery to be undertaken by in house Doctors. A Health Care Assistant will sit in to not only assist the doctor but to provide support to the patient. These surgeries take place once a month.

Please make an appointment with the doctor first, as he/she will need to decide whether it is appropriate to do the minor surgery within the practice or whether you need to have a referral to the hospital.

The following may fall under minor ops;

JOINT INJECTIONS - shoulder, tennis elbow, some wrist/thumb, hips (for trochanteric bursitis), knee, plantar fasciitis & trigger finger

MINOR OPERATIONS - minor (non-suspicious) skin lesions/moles - not on face, simple cysts including on scalp
