In recognition of the increasing prevalence of asthma in our community we hold an asthma clinic which is run by the Practice Nurse who will ensure that treatment is effective by checking inhaler technique and measuring lung function regularly.
Acute Asthma problems and emergencies should be seen within normal surgery consultations - appointments can be made via our Reception Staff.

Our Practice holds a Child Immunisations clinic once a week.

We encourage parents to have their children immunised to prevent them against infectious diseases

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic lung condition encompassing diseases such as bronchitis and emphysema.
The Practice runs a clinic to help patients with COPD, and appointments for the clinics can be made via our Reception Staff.

We have an in-house dietician who attends the practice once a month.
She works as part of a multi-disciplinary team/supporting the work of other health care professionals. She provides health advice and promotes healthy eating, advises about special diets and nutrition. She also helps to facilitate dietary changes e.g. for obese and diabetic patients.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Our Practice offers advice and support to people who are motivated to stop smoking. Patients who are keen to stop smoking are referred to the ‘Stop Smoking’ clinic via the doctors or nurse.

We offer the full range of travel vaccinations. We are regularly
updated with the international requirements.

The travel clinic is run by our practice nurse. Patients who are planning to travel overseas, whether on business or pleasure should contact our Reception Staff at least 8 weeks beforehand to enquire about their specific vaccination requirements.
