Asthma Clinic - Asthma advice and treatment

Management of asthma is a long term relationship between the patient and the practice. Patients will be advised about the way their care is organised within the practice. We will recall patients periodically for assessment and medicine management.

Baby clinic with health visitor - Baby Clinic

Baby clinics are held at the Sure Start Children's Centre at The Mary Potter Centre. Please call the Mary Potter Centre on 0115 9420330 to find out when drop-in clinics are on.

Child Immunisations - Childhood Immunisation

We will contact parents when their children are due for immunisations.

COPD clinic with spirometry - COPD

Management of COPD conditions is a long term relationship between the patient and the practice. Patients will be advised about the way their care is organised within the practice. We will recall patients periodically for assessment and medicine management.

Learning disability health check
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant)

Patients are offered and advice and fitting/management service, including Mirena coils, copper coils, and contraceptive implants.

Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house

The practice can provide joint injections, cryotherapy to troublesome warts etc, and minor surgery for the removal of small lesions, for non-cosmetic reasons. The patients GP will advise whether the service provided is appropriate.

We can provide advice about stopping smoking, and book appointments at the Nottingham City extended hours service (GP+) with a "Stop Smoking Clinician". Please contact reception at the practice if you wish to be booked in for this.

We are happy to provide advice to young males and females on a wide range of issues for young people, including healthy diets, lifestyle, sexual health, contraception and hygiene. All consultations are held in strict confidence.
