Anticoagulant monitoring and dosing - provided in-house - Anticoagulation Clinic

These appointments are for those patients on Warfarin who require regular monitoring.

Asthma Clinic - Asthma Clinic

This clinic is held for the regular reviews of known asthmatics and diagnosis of potential asthmatics

Child health and development - Child Health Surveillance (CHS)
Child Immunisations - Child Immunisations

When you child is due their immunisations you will be sent a letter for an appointment, if this is a series of injections the following appointments can be booked when you have the first appointment.
Please note that we must have the consent of the childs guardian before we can administer the injections.

COPD clinic with spirometry - COPD Clinic

These appointments are for regular patient reviews and diagnosis of COPD only.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant) - IUDs

Should you wish to discuss the fitting, removal or any issues to do with IUD's please arrange an appointmwith Dr Blandford (female) or Dr Sidhu (male). After discussion a further, longer, appointment will be made for fitting or removal. You will be sent a reminder for an annual check, this can be carried out by any Practice Nurse or GP during normal surgery times.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house - Minor Surgery

If you require minor surgery you must see a GP first. They will then assess your need and refer you to Dr R Armstrong or Dr K Sidhu. Appointments can be booked at either site during normal surgery hours.
Dr Sidhu also undertakes Joint Injections

Smoking cessation clinic - Smoking Cessation Clinic

Held during any normal appointment

Travel health with yellow fever - Travel Health

If you are travelling abroad and wish to discuss with someone what immunisations etc you may require please book an appointment with a Practice Nurse.
If you require Malaria tablets these should be brought at the chemist.
We are unable to administer all travel vaccines but will refer you to a travel centre elsewhere if you require items such as Yellow Fever.
