Dr Khalid Anis is an award winning general dental practitioner and a Facial Aesthetic Practitioner with extensive experience across all segments of dentistry and also has a special interest in the world of facial aesthetics. He previously worked as a clinical director of dentistry and a consultant in public health. He has acted as an advisor to the Department of Health on a number of dentistry related issues. Dr Anis has lectured extensively around the world and has helped in disaster management abroad. His teaching skills have led him into the role of an Educational Supervisor, training young foundation dentists to work in a general practice environment.
Dr Amnah Sarwar
Dr Sarwar’s time is usually divided between working at Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics and spending quality time with her family and two children who keep her busy to say the least, dining and enduring fitness classes.

Dr Khalid Anis

Cosmetic Dentist

Dr Anis has built a reputation as an experienced, high quality, ethical and caring clinician.

At the advent of his highly-distinguished career, Dr Anis graduated in Dentistry from the University of Birmingham and later gained an MSc in Dental Public health from the Eastman Dental Institute and a Diploma in Dental Public Health from the Royal College of Surgeons (England). He is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and has obtained an MBA from the University of Keele. Owing to his dedication, he was awarded an MBE for services to dentistry.

Mr Faisal Farooq

Practice Manager

Faisal stems from a background in law, graduating as a Barrister and practicing in the fields of Corporate & Commercial law in the Middle East and in Serious Crime in the UK. Faisal’s responsibility is to ensure Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics keeps in line with all BDA requirements and keeps up to date with the latest legislation and rules governing Dental Practices. Faisal’s main priority is to ensure all patients are happy with the services provided that the highly motivated dental team provide high standards of dental care.

Faisal interests include foreign travel, business development, reading and keeping fit.

Natalie Howman

Lead Dental Nurse

Natalie is the Lead Dental Nurse at Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics and has over 10 years experience in the dentistry field. Working alongside various dentists of a range of specialities in the primary and secondary care settings. Her role as a Lead Nurse is to ensure patients are at ease during the treatment, all clinical areas and surgery settings in the practices are kept to a very high standard by adhering to the HTM 01-05 guidelines and all procedures carried out are compliant to GDC and CQC standards. Natalie has a keen interest in working with the cosmetic dentist and is always looking to develop her skills further so has embarked herself onto dental courses in cosmetic/restorative dentistry to assist herself further.

Natalie has a passion for horse riding, dining with friends and in her spare time enjoys spending quality time with her 3 year old son and her newly wed husband.

Carmel Mackay

Receptionist

Carmel is the Reception Manager and a Qualified Dental Nurse here at Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics. She has worked in the dental industry for over 30 years and gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of the dentistry field in the NHS and Private sector as a dental nurse. Carmel is totally committed to ensuring that every patient receives the best possible service and experience when having treatment here at Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics. Carmel has been trained to assist in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and has an insight in practice management. Carmel enjoys long walks with her partner, gardening, socialising with friends and listening to live music.

Dr Asel Qader

Associate Dentist

Asel qualified from Cardiff University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Within the same year she was awarded with the John Miller prize in Paediatric Dentistry for her outstanding achievement. Since then she has completed a Diploma in Primary Dental Care with the Universiry of Kent and also completed her Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) in 2014. She has a keen interest in Oral Surgery and has worked at various hospitals accross the UK as a Specialist Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Asel also takes pride in treating nervous and anxious patients, so has been certified in conscious sedation to relieve dental phobia. She currently works part time at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Trafford General Hospital in oral surgery and oral medicine viewing a broad spectrum of complex cases. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, travelling and has a passion for baking, especially the sweet treats.

Dr Amnah Sarwar

Principal Dentist

Dr Amnah Sarwar is the Practice Principal of Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics. Since graduating in 2007 from University of Liverpool with two clinical prizes, early in her career Amnah was keen to pursue dental excellence and embarked on a number of post graduate courses in restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry gaining a breadth of experience. After becoming the owner of Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics, her vision was to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offer the highest quality of dentistry using the latest technology available today. To compliment her dentistry she has successfully completed and is certified in providing anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers in the world of facial rejuvenation. Dr Sarwar’s area of expertise lies in the field of advanced cosmetic dentistry and has a keen interest in short term Orthodontics and is a clinical provider for Six Month Smiles.

At present Levenshulme Dental & Cosmetics is successfully expanding and Dr Sarwar will soon be undertaking the PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice to become an Educational Supervisor where she will not only be sharing her experiences, but teaching young foundation dentists in a clinical environment. Keen on her studying she will be embarking on the certified Advanced Restorative Dentistry course this year, further building on her interest in cosmetic dentistry.
