I trained in Bristol and after spending some time in Africa and then training to be a GP in North Wales, I came back to Bristol to work in this practice in 1994. I enjoy getting to know people in the context of their home and families and this aspect of general practice gets better the longer I have worked in Henbury. I am interested in complementary medicine and how diet, exercise and relaxation can help to prevent ill-health. I teach medical students in the surgery and at the University.

I grew up in Bristol and have been with the practice since 2002. I trained in London and did most of my hospital jobs in the London area. I look after practice safety and efficiency including IT. I train doctors to become GPs as well as teaching medical students within the practice. I am a keen walker and cyclist and also play in a local orchestra.
