Asthma Clinic - Asthma ClinicWe offer a yearly Asthma review for all patients and we also monitor throughout the year any issues that patients may have.
Child health and development - Child Health Surveillance (CHS)We work closely with Midwifes, Health Visitors and the local Child Health Team. Our GP offers 6 week mother and baby checks and are available for any issues parents may have.
Child ImmunisationsOur Practice Nurse is fully training in administering childhood immunisations. She will address any doubts or concerns that parents may have prior to any immunisations taking place.
COPD clinic with spirometryOur Practice will perform yearly health reviews for patients, existing and newly diagnosed.
Diabetes Clinic providing insulin initiationWe have a Diabetic Nurse Specialist who has a pre-booked clinic twice a month to see our patients within our surgery. Our Practice Nurse is also fully trained in Diabetes and works closely along side the Diabetic Nurse Specialist, and sees patients throughout the month for Diabetes, including performing their annual reviews and monitoring of their blood sugar levels.
Learning disability health checkWe offer a yearly review for each patient and can refer patients into the local Learning Disability team for additional help and support.
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant)We offer a contraceptive service. We fit and remove implants, provide contraception pills and administer the Depo injection. Our Practice Nurse can also offer additional family planning advice, and sign post patient to other services.
Travel health without yellow feverOur Practice nurse can administer a vast range of travel vaccines. We offer a full service, including a telephone travel risk assessment and a face to face appointment to administer the vaccines. We do however require at least 6 weeks notice prior to any travel arrangements.
