This is held on Thursday afternoons from 1.30pm - 3.30pm for well babies only (Pre-bookable appointments). You can see the nurse for immunisations and the doctor for 6-8 week checks.

You will receive an invitation for your child to be immunised. We strongly encourage all children to be immunised according to the current Department of Health guidelines. Please visit the NHS Immunisation Website for more information.
Please note as of February 2019 the Health Visiting clinic will no longer be available at the practice and will be moving to a Community Baby Hub based at Kentish Town Health Centre, 2 Bartholomew Road, London NW5 2BX (Thursdays 9.30-11.30am only). We have an Alcohol worker on-site and run a twice weekly Response clinic for patients requiring drug dependence support and specialist prescribing.

Several Doctors currently perform minor surgery for certain skin complaints. We also do joint injections and cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen.

You cannot book directly into the minor surgery clinic because you need to be assessed by a doctor first.

This service requires a referral by your GP

The practice has a blood test clinic which is intended for those patients that have difficulty attending the Royal Free Hospital.

Always check whether or not you are allowed to eat before your test because sometimes you need to be fasting.

We run a smoking cessation clinic with our Healthcare Assistant and our Practice Nurses during weekdays. Dedicated smoking cessation clinics have been shown to have a better outcome than patients who try to give up on their own. A variety of nicotine replacements are available through this clinic to assist you with giving up. Please book directly into the clinic at reception.

The Travel Clinic is available to patients of the Hampstead Group Practice only. We no longer offer travel consultations for those who are not registered with the practice. Patients registered with the Practice are normally entitled to free NHS immunisations for polio, tetanus, diptheria, hepatitis A and typhoid. A fee is payable for most other immunisations. Please note we are no longer a designated Yellow Fever Centre and will not be offering vaccinations or reissue certificates.

Try to make your appointment at least one month before your date of travel because some immunisations take time to become effective. The Travel Clinic can provide up to the minute information on malaria prevention and dispense malaria medication if required.
