Asthma Clinic - asthma clinicAsthma review is done by our Practice Nurse to talk about asthma management which may help prevent asthma attacks in the future. As per the guidelines, everyone should have an asthma review at least once a year. Children should have their review every 6 months if possible.
Child health and development - 6 week checkThe 6 week check is part of NHS Newborn physical examination programme. An examination of the baby should take place within 6-8 weeks and should include: A physical examination, a review of development, an opportunity to give health advise and parents to express concerns.
Child Immunisations - immunisation.We provide childhood vaccination as per guidelines.
COPD clinic with spirometry - COPD CLINICAll COPD patients required to have 6 monthly reviews to check their inhaler technique, lung function, oxygen saturation, general medication and physical health check.
Learning disability health check - Learning Disability health checkAll patients with a Learning disability as required to have annual bloods and review.
Travel health without yellow fever - Travel jabs and advisePatients wishing to travel please contact the surgery 4-6 weeks before travel date. For advice about the necessary vaccination (please note all travel vaccinations are not available on NHS, so fees maybe available). You DO NOT need to see a doctor for travel immunisation, this can be done by the Practice Nurse, so please book appropriately. Yellow fever centre information can be provided at reception.
