Meet our clinical lead Asad, who qualified as a dentist from Manchester University in 2002, and has over 12 years experience in providing routine and advanced dental treatments which are underpinned by a preventive approach to minimise future problems.
His enthusiasm for his vocation has taken him on numerous post-graduate courses in aesthetic dentistry, with cosmetic options and ceramics, and in high quality functional treatments such as implants.
Outside work he enjoys travel and visiting galleries, theaters and restaurants. A football enthusiast, Asad enjoys a wide variety of sports when he has time

I am passionate about providing high quality dental care for my patients in a relaxed and friendly environment. I enjoy working with the Smile Impressions team of dentists and hygienists to help my patients achieve the smile they want, and then to maintain their oral health through a programme of ongoing preventive support.
Dentistry goes beyond repairing teeth, and there are many treatment options to improve appearance, using cosmetic materials to achieve a natural look, and invisible aligners to straighten them. I understand that a visit to the dentist can feel overwhelming, and I take the time to explain treatment options with patience and care, and to work closely with my patients to allay their anxieties.
I have had wonderful mentors in general practice and during my year at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Kings College Hospital, and I accept referrals for extractions and wisdom teeth removal.
Outside dentistry I have studied various dance disciplines from a young age. I try to keep fit regularly at the gym, running and swimming.

Dentist with an interest in Root Canal Therapy
I completed a 3 year Masters programme in Endodontics at Queen Mary University in 2017 and I provide endodontic treatment at Smile Impressions on Thursdays.
Endodontics is the area of dentistry concerned saving natural teeth which have suffered extensive damage or disease and require root treatments. Some teeth have straight roots and can be treated by general dentists, others require additional expertise because they are curved or have been treated before, so they are referred to me by my colleagues and we work closely to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to achieve the best result for our patients.
I place great importance on patient comfort during root canal treatment, using modern, state of the art equipment and techniques to provide high quality treatment.
I keep abreast of the latest developments by attending national conferences, and I am a member of the British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology.
In my spare time I am a keen footballer, and I enjoy fitness and weight training workouts, which provides the perfect balance for my passion for cooking and enjoying good food.
