Services

We can initiate Warfarin therapy, if clinically indicated, we also monitor all of these patients in house and have our own Coaguchek monitor.

This clinic is run by our clinical nursing team, please book an appointment with reception.

This clinic is held on a Wednesday morning, each week. When you receive your invitation, through the post, for your child, please book an appointment with reception.

Karen, one of our Nurse Practitioners, completes this testing and patients can have regular reviews with our clinicans. These patients are also advuised to have an Influenza immunisation yearly.

Karen, one of our Nurse Practitioners & Sue, our Practice Nurse, are both qualified to look after our diabetic patients. They also are able to initiate insulin therapy, should the need arise. We are looking to open this service to the wider locality area within the near future.

We complete these type of treatments as required/requested by your secondary care provider.

This service is completed by Dr Cormack, maily during our minor surgery sessions, held on Saturdays. Please contact reception for more information.

Debbie, one of our Nurse Practitioners, is qualified to fit and remove the contraceptive implant device. This service is avaliable to our patients and those from other surgeries. Please contact reception for an appointment, if you are a Greenwood Surgery patient & see your own GP to be referred, if you are NOT a patient of Greenwood Surgery.

We hold minor surgery clinics monthly, when able, on a Saturday morning. Please book an appointment with a clinician, if you feel you have concerns and wish to be seen in this clinic.

We run a phelbotomy clinic on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings. We have early morning appointments on Wednesday mornings from 8 AM.

We provide a travel health clinic and are a registered yellow fever centre, providing this service to patients outside of Greenwood Surgery. Please contact reception, at least 2 months before departure, to arrange any immunisations that you might require.
