The practice is delighted to announce that Dr Ahmed has joined us on a part time basis from September 2017. Dr Ahmed will add to our clinical team to help us continue to provide a high quality standard of care to all of our registered patients. Dr Ahmed will be working with us two days a week and will have a number of pre-bookable and on-the-day appointments to provide consultations for patients with presenting symptoms. Dr Ahmed will also be providing minor surgery appointments for our patients.

Dr Maroju has become extremely popular with patients since beginning work with the practice in 2012. She also runs a regular sexual health clinic, where she can provide removals/insertions of long acting reversible contraception including coils and implants.

Mrs Carole Dickson-Earle

Specialist Nurse Practitioner

Carole is our highly trained Prescribing Practitioner, working closely with our doctors providing day to day care for our patients. Most of our on-the-day appointments in surgery are with Carole, who deals with patient symptoms presented on a daily basis with great care and by prescribing medication and submitting hospital referrals in the same way our GP's do. Carole is the ideal person to see if you have an infections requiring antibiotics, rashes, muscular pains (including back, neck or chest pain), ongoing aches, pains and fatigue or require contraceptive advice/medication. She also carries out most of our medication reviews for ongoing prescription medication, such as cholesterol, depression and anxiety medication.

Nurse Practitioner

Sarah is our highly trained Acute Care Practitioner, providing almost 100 extra appointments a week for patients with symptoms requiring prescription medication & treatment. Sarah can deal with minor illnesses & injuries, infections, coughs, repeat and emergency contraception, sowllen glands, new muscle injuries and much more.

Sarah will work alongside our GP's & Prescribing Practitioners to treat and diagnose patients presenting with symptoms.

Sarah will also provide a small number of practice nurse appointments each week.

Services

All patients on our Learning Disability register will be invited for an annual health check with Dr Hussain and our Practice Nurse.

We offer regular clinics for insertion and removal of implants and coils with Dr Maroju. Dr Kunzemann is also qualified to provide these clinics when required.

This service requires a referral by your GP

A regular clinic for minor surgery is available with by Dr Kunzemann with one of our highly trained nursing team members. Dr Ahmed is now also providing minor surgery clinics for our registered patients.

A regular wart clinic is available with Dr Hussain.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Blood tests available at the surgery for anyone aged 16+ every week day, whether you are registered at the practice or not. Please remember to bring your blood form to your appointment.

Please note: Children's blood tests are not currently available in the surgery.
