As the female partner at HMC, Dr Meenu Kumar is a motivated doctor with a range of specialist interests supported by her post graduate qualifications.

She is the Lead in Diabetes Management for our practice, having completed a Diploma in Diabetes offered by Warwick University. Her knowledge and skills in diabetes have afforded great benefit to our patient population.

Her interest in Womens' Health is supported by a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as a Diploma in the Faculty of Family Planning.

Dr Kumar is also the lead in Medical Education for our practice, and prides herself in hosting an excellent teaching environment for our future doctors.

She has been a qualified appraiser for other GPs within North West London since 2008.

Her experience within General Practice has made her a great communicator. She is warm and approachable and always aims to put her patients needs first.

Dr Nittin Kumar is the Principle Partner in our surgery. He has trained in many of London's teaching hospitals and gained vast experience in specialities allied to general practice. His specialist interests include family planning and sexual health.

Dr Kumar has a multicultural background and speaks Hindi, Punjabi as well as Urdu. He belives in a patient centred approach to care and has formed great alliances within the community. 

Dr Kumar's dynamic nature and passion for clinical excellence has allowed him to be elected the Clinical Director of the Heart of Hounslow Locality. Within this role he works hard to bring the needs of patients in our community to the forefront of management.

Dr Bhaskar Patel has been practicing in our surgery for over 30 years and is an integral member of the HMC team.

His multiple postgraduate degrees are a testatment to his knowledge and experience in general practice and allied specialties.

His specialist interests include minor operations (carried out in-house), joint injections and gynaecology.

Dr Patel is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. Having practiced in the Hounslow area for the last 30 years has allowed him to form tight bonds with families within the community.

Mrs Nicky Baljeet Thethy

Practice Manager

Nicky has been our Practice Manager since 1994. She ensures the smooth running of our surgery. Her vast experience in nursing and the managerial role allows her to efficiently link clinical care to practice management. 

She trained in Banbury and Qualified as a Nurse in 1974 and has worked within a number of departements at West Middlesex Hospital. She also has experience of nursing within the community as a District Nurse.

She has worked in Management and Social Services subsequent to her clinical experience. 

Nicky also works as our practice Nurse and her knowledge of hospital and community nursing makes her ideal for this role. She is empathic and has a caring approach to all patients.

She is an established member of the community and is a fantastic team leader.
