Primary care counselling service

Counselling is a therapy that can help with problems including relationship difficulties, bereavement issues, difficulties at work, depression and anxiety and crisis situations. If your GP feels counselling will help you he will refer you, and you will be offered a maximum of seven sessions with our counsellor.

Smoking cessation clinic

The Stop Smoking Service provides free access to free support programmes that offer positive and practical support, and a step-by-step approach tailored to meet your needs.
Our specially trained Stop Smoking Advisor offers patients the choice of group sessions or one-to-one consultations. "Drop in" sessions are held on Tuesdays at 12 noon and 6.00pm. For information on other options available call 0845 053 3302 or call the surgery direct on 0161 368 4161
