Dr Naiz Khan was born in Birmingham and attended the University of Bristol where he qualified as a dentist in 2005.  Dr Khan joined Eastgate Dental Centre in 2006 and is the head clinician of this ten surgery practice as well as a Clinical Support Manager in the Wales and West region.  He has completed further training in tooth whitening, Botox, collagen fillers, Invisalign and dental implants.

Frederico comes from Porto, Portugal. Before coming to England, Frederico has worked in private practice, has held a post at the University as a clinical assistant and worked at a private Hospital.

Frederico has completed his MSc in Endodontics, with Distinction, at the prestigious King’s College London.

Currently, Frederico works as a Dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics, restoration of endodontically treated teeth and Microscope Dentistry, and collaborates as a clinical tutor at the Delta Dental Academy in Bristol.

He is also the UK Key Opinion Leader, for the award-winning German microscope brand CJOPTIK and Eighteeth Medical. Frederico is a member of the British Endodontic Society (BES), the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), the British Academy of Microscope Dentistry (BAMD) and the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry (AMED).

Frederico is married and has two young children.

In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, surfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Dr. Dimitra Sarivasileiou graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2018 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Both as a student and after she graduated, she attended various congresses, where she presented two scientific announcements. While studying dentistry, Dimitra was working as a dental assistant for 5 years, which helped her to familiarize with the needs of a dental practice and to master her communication skills with dental patients. After her graduation, she started her dental career in Greece first at a private orthodontic practice and then at a private dental practice, where she gained experience and expanded her critical ability. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a keen interest on prosthetic dentistry. She believes helping nervous patients to overcome their dental fears and detecting in time oral soft tissues’ pathological diseases are two of the most fundamental parts of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, playing the piano and travelling.

Natalia graduated from the University of Tartu, Estonia in 2005. Damian Clayton trained as a Dental hygienist whilst serving in the Royal Navy. He enjoys helping patients to keep their mouths as healthy as they can. Adept at: general scaling and polishing; airflow polishing for a brighter smile; treatment of periodontal disease and gingivitis; and all aspects of oral hygiene advice including how to reduce the impact of gum recession, acid erosion and tooth sensitivity. Damian is especially proficient at treating patients who are nervous of dental treatment.

Julie Simpkins qualified as a Dental hygienist in 2001 within the Royal Navy, then as a Dental Therapist 2011 from Bristol dental school. Julie was Dental Hygienist of the year finalist 2018. holds qualifications in oral health promotion, diet and nutrition, and is a qualified smoking cessation councillor, Julie plans to begin her MSC in periodontal disease next year.

 Julie enjoys treating Nervous patients, has a keen interest in paediatric dentistry. She works alongside a periodontal specialist and is current with the latest periodontal and peri implantitis treatments, including guided biofilm removal. She is very proficient at both in chair and home tooth whitening treatments.

 In her spare time Julie volunteers with ‘Oral Health In Developing Countries’ visiting Nepal to help set up free dental clinics, in the UK Julie voluntarily visits schools providing dental health education.

 Animal conservation is a passion, Julie visits south Africa frequently to support a lion rehabilitation centre, Julie helps assist with dental treatments for lions, without which these lions may not be rereleased into the wild.
