The Practice Nurse sees patients in this surgery on Wednesday,
Annual checks which include height and weight monitoring are performed in the Asthma Clinic. Peak flow inhaler technique are also checked on a regular basis.
Smoking habits will be discussed and general health promotion will be given. The practice nurse will be able to refer you to a Smoking Cessation Programme should you so wish.
Asthma symptoms can be discussed with the practice nurse.
