The Practice Nurse administers childhood vaccinations and will be able to advise you what vaccinations your child needs.

This includes joint and soft tissue injections, excision of small skin lesions, in growing toe nail resection etc.

The phlebotomy clinics or blood tests are administered by the Health Care Assistants at the request of the doctor.  If a blood test is required you will be given a blood request form by the doctor and asked to make an appointment for your bloods to be taken. At present we are only accepting 14 years or older for this service. There are facilities elsewhere for children.

Travel vaccinations including Yellow Fever are administered by the Practice Nurse. The nurse will also be able to advise you what vaccinations you will need depending on your destination of travel.
