I qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 2014. Since qualifying, I’ve worked in Essex at both National Health and Private dental practices as well as working internationally in Australia. 

I have a keen interest in cosmetic, restorative and minimally invasive dentistry.

I’m fully certified in procedures, including C-Fast, Smile Tru, ZOOM! and Enlighten whitening systems. I’m committed to continued professional development and continue to attend numerous postgraduate educational courses. This allows me to use the most current evidence based research to deliver advanced care. My philosophy is to provide patient focused treatments, to ensure you leave Diamond Dental Group having had a great experience. 

Outside of work I enjoy pilates, badminton, cooking and travelling around the world to experience all cultures, languages and cuisines.

Kunal Desai received his BDS with Honours from Bart’s and The London, following a BSc with Honours in Biology with Business Management from Queen Mary’s University of London. Kunal is specifically interested in Restorative dentistry. Having completed many post‐graduate courses including a certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry he is able to offer a variety of treatments such as Invisalign, fixed cosmetic braces, amongst many other minimally invasive treatment options all of which keep him at the forefront of dentistry. Kunal is committed to providing high quality gentle dentistry and his greatest reward is seeing the positive transformation of patient’s attitude towards their own dental care. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym and more recently he has a keen interest in photography.

Practice Lead

I have been working with Diamond Dental Group since January 2019, I joined the team as a Head Nurse and I am really proud to say I have worked my way up to Practice Lead.

I have been a qualified Dental Nurse since 2016 and since then have managed to develop my skills, I have worked as an agency nurse which allowed me to work with a number of different clinicians and teams in many different situations. I have also gained my qualification in sedation dental nursing which I was extremely proud of. 

Diamond Dental Group has a lovely calming atmosphere that is not very common in a Dental setting, I find working with the team and patients extremely rewarding.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends, horseriding, dog training and anything else to do with animals.

Miss Corinne Samuels

Dental Nurse

Corinne from Essex joined the practice in 2014, Completed NEBDN in 2010 and registered in 2013, she is currently working to improve the practices sustainability.

Corinne loves continuing her personal development plan she alternates between her duties assisting the dentist within the surgery /Reception and would like to become an Oral Health Educator.

In Corinne’s free time she loves to spend time with her family and enjoys water sport activities.
