I joined the Smile Impressions team in 2012, and my vision has been to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offering treatments to the highest quality.  

Since graduating from Cardiff University  I have undertaken many postgraduate courses in several aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.  I am currently pursuing my diploma in Restorative Dentist at the British Academy of Restorative dentistry.

I have a strong interested in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Specifically I carry out teeth straightening and have the expertise using systems such as Invisalign (TM), Cfast, Inman Aligners and ClearSmile. I have also branched beyond dentistry  into facial aesthetics (wrinkle relaxation). I enjoy treating  my patient’s  face as a whole by not only being able to provide them with a beautiful smile but framing that smile for a fresh youthful appearance.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, painting and socialising with family and friends.

I worked in practice in Birmingham for several years before joining the Smile Impressions Lee team in 2016.

I believe dental health plays a huge role in a person’s appearance, confidence and wellbeing. I focus on preventative treatment and use this as the basis to the dental care I provide for all my patients. I treat anxious patients on a daily basis and am fully empathetic towards patients’ anxieties. I aim to provide gentle and high level of care to my patients in order to make their dental experience as comfortable as possible. 

I particularly enjoy treating children and take a keen interest in promoting their oral health.

Delivering high quality dental care requires a lifetime of learning due to its ever-evolving nature. I hold a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and am dedicated to post graduate training in order to keep up to date with new treatments and techniques.

I have undertaken the ‘Advanced Operative and Restorative Dentistry Course’ at the Aspire Academy to develop upon my skills in Aesthetic Dentistry in order to provide the best quality of treatment for my patients.

I am also an Enlighten Whitening provider, and alongside dentistry, I offer Facial Aesthetic treatment which I thoroughly enjoy.

In my spare time I love to travel, attend theatre and shows as well as spending time with loved ones.

Dr Shrina Patel

Dentist

I graduated from Barts and the London in 2008 and have since worked as both an associate and principal dentist. I take great pride in providing quality dental care and building long-standing relationships with my patients. I believe it is extremely important for patients to be involved in their treatment planning and therefore I will always ensure that I spend time discussing various options with my patients.   Knowing that many patients are nervous about going to the dentist, I always seek to spend time explaining to patients what their treatment involves in order to ease their nerves, and will strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible.   I have completed a one year aesthetic restorative course, allowing me to provide cosmetic treatment ranging from teeth whitening to veneers and composite bonding treatments. I am also trained to provide facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal filler treatments with a focus on achieving a natural and subtle result, whilst ensuring that safety is given paramount importance.   In my spare time I am learning to play the piano.  I also enjoy reading, travelling and a good wine and cheese night!

Dr Nandita Kanzaria

Dentist

I graduated from King’s College London in 2015 and completed my vocational training in Nottingham.  I went on to pursue my interests in surgical dentistry and worked as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where I completed additional qualifications and became a member of the royal college of surgeons. ​I have recently joined the fantastic team at Smile Impressions.  I enjoy getting to know my patients and making them feel comfortable in the chair. One of my favourite things about being a dentist is to transform smiles and make people feel confident within themselves. ​In my spare time I try to combine my two passions, travel and food. I am a keen traveller and I love to experience new cultures and experiment with different cuisines.

Dr Clodagh Scanlan

I graduated with an honours degree from University College Cork, Ireland and have been working in England since graduation. On graduating, I was presented with the Irish Dental Council’s Best Professionalism Award for my time spent in Cork University Hospital Dental School.

I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry. I aim to provide a calm and relaxed environment for all patients especially children and nervous patients, putting patients at ease with a caring chair-side manner and high quality dentistry. 

As a passionate practitioner who believes in continual development and education since graduation I have completed my MFDS postgraduate diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I have also completed Postgraduate

Certificate in the Practical Management of Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. 

In 2016,  I was part of a Dental Outreach programme who volunteered in Nepal for three weeks visiting communities, orphanages and schools educating them on oral hygiene and providing emergency and basic dental care. I also volunteer regularly with Special Olympics Ireland and volunteer with Crisis to help the homeless in the UK. 

In my spare time, I am a sporting enthusiast! I have completed the Cork City Marathon as part of a relay team on several occasions and an avid Chelsea fan  and Munster Rugby supporter.
