Our practice nurses have been trained in the management of asthma and chronic lung disease. Regular appointments are available on request.

Child immunisation and child health surveillance clinics are held every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm with either Dr Louise Tomei or Dr Anne-Marie Quirk(alternate weeks) and the health visitor. They can answer any concerns you may have regarding your child’s development or immunisations. .

Minor surgical procedures are performed by either Dr Stewart Tomlinson or Dr Chris Monella on a Friday afternoon from 1.30pm until 3.30pm. Please make an appointment with your Doctor in the normal way for an assessment of the problem.

All blood tests requested by the doctors will be performed at Medwyn Surgery. Please book your appointment at reception.

Appointments available with a practice nurse who will provide support and advice on giving up smoking. An appointment is required.

Specialist advice/immunisation for travel to all areas of the world can be provided by our trained practice nurses. We are a registered Yellow Fever Clinic. If possible, please contact the practice nurse two months before your date of travel as some vaccinations take time to work and need a course of treatment.
There may be a charge for some vaccines.
