Child health and development - CHS and Immunisation & Vaccination Clinic

Clinics are for children from birth to five years.  Babies attend from eight weeks old when they will have their eight weeks assessment and first injections.  Babies then attend at monthly intervals to receive their second and third injections.  When babies are 12 months old they are invited for their Hib/Menc, pneumococcol booster and their MMR jab.  Advice and information about all immunisations is available for parents.  Three years after the babies had their third injection, the children will be due for their MMR2 and pre-school booster.  All children receive an invite to attend surgery for this.
