Please book an appointment with a practice nurse at any time for postnatal checks and book an appointment with a GP for the baby's 6 week checks, we will try and fit both these appointments in around the same time to save you visiting the practice twice.

For baby and child immunisations please book an appointment with a nurse at Alexandra Road baby clinics (these are on Wednesdays 9.30am-12.00pm or Thursdays 1.30pm-4.00pm) or with practice nurse at Crestview (any time, there are no specific imms clinics at Crestview ).

Although there is a Health Visitor attached to the practice she is not based on-site, please access health visitor services through the Sure Start centres or contact them directly (there should be contact details in your baby's Red record book).

Minor Ops Clinics are held at both Alexandra Road and Crestview Surgeries on a variety of days. Should your usual GP feel you would benefit from an appointment within a Minor Op Clinic, a referral will be made internally and the GP performing the minor surgery may need to assess you in an appointment prior to the minor op itself (the op may not be carried out by your usual GP as not all GPs are trained to do this work).

A Smoking Cessation clinic is held at Crestview on Tuesday morning through to lunchtime. There is a permanent smoking cessation clinic near Alexandra Road Surgery at 5 Police Station Road, Lowestoft open most days during the week and certain evenings, please call tel. 0800 652 3477 for more information.
