The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre uses a combination of procedures to improve your smile. It may be as simple as an oral hygiene clean or as complex as using a combination of advanced techniques to give you the best result possible.

At The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre, we take a holistic approach to dental health. Our aim is to provide you with oral care that will ensure your smile remains healthy and happy throughout your lifetime.

All members of our team work together because we actually care about our patients. All members of our staff are very highly trained and attend postgraduate courses on a regular basis including CPR training to keep up‐to‐date.

The Practice has five highly qualified dentists. All aspects of dental treatment are undertaken by the five dentists. The Practice also has a dental hygienist and a dental therapist who work together with the rest of the team to help improve the oral hygiene and oral health of our patients.

All our practitioners are UK qualified, and most have additional qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons England. Their advanced qualifications ensure that we provide the utmost care and service to all our patients. Our team is full of diverse and enjoyable personalities and everyone works together to create an organized, enjoyable and welcoming workplace.

Rash has an infectious sense of humour and a tremendous enthusiasm within the dental industry. He is a tutor, mentor and trainer for postgraduate dentists at The Central London PGE Study Group based at University College Hospital. Rash regularly lectures on a wide range of Restorative subjects, including Implant Dentistry internationally as well as at various dental schools and hospitals within the UK.

He is the founder of The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre and one of the first dentists to be awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With a reputation for quality and expertise, Dr Rash Patel is recognized by his peers around the world.

Rash is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, an examiner for the Implant Diploma for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as National Examining Board for Dental Nurses.

Over the past 25 years, Dr Rash Patel has perfected the art of cosmetic, reconstructive, restorative and implant dentistry. With his gentle and approachable personality, he quickly puts even the most nervous of patients at ease.

Michael was brought up in Yorkshire. He joined the Slade dental Practice & Implant Centre in 1991 and has steadily built up a passion for providing high quality dental treatment. Michael has a strong belief that dental continuing education benefits both the dentist as well as the patient.

Michael is very active within the dental industry and is involved in the development of postgraduate courses for dentists, lecturing in both South Africa and Germany. He has also been deeply involved in furthering his own postgraduate education, with a leadership and management diploma as well as the implantology diploma.

Dr Megan Kibble

Originally from South East London, Megan graduated from Cardiff Dental School and joined the Slade Dental Practice in 2017.

Megan’s caring and empathetic manner puts some our most anxious patients at ease. Megan is approachable and open and is passionate about communication to provide her patients with the knowledge required to understand their treatment requirements.

Megan has recently gained the MDJF postgraduate qualification ad has an interest in Invisalign invisible braces and facial aesthetic techniques.

Richa  qualified from Barts and the London in 2018, and has since joined The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre as part of her foundation year.

Having grown up in South East London, she lived close to the Slade Dental Practice and was brought here by her parents when she was a child. Richa feels that  the positive experience she had here played a role in inspiring her later decision to study dentistry.

As a clinician, Richa always ensures to put her patients at ease, taking the time to manage any concerns, in a caring and pragmatic way.

Her interests lie within oral surgery. Richa plans to continue her studies, in order to ensure the best quality of care is delivered to all of her patients.

Dr Nicholas Leakey

Nicholas qualified from Peninsula College of medicine and dentistry. He worked for a number of years in the oral and maxillofacial hospital department in East Grinstead, Kent. Since his return to general practice, he has continued to provide high quality dental treatment in the London area. Nicholas passionately believes in the value of continuing education and has completed many postgraduate courses, including training in implant dentistry.

His strong commitment to continual professional development allows her to offer the highest standard of care to his patients.
