Anticoagulant monitoring and dosing - provided in-houseWe hold an anticoagulant clinic here at Downing Drive Surgery on a Thursday and sometimes on a Tuesday. Future appointment times are organised by the our Practice Nurses at your attended appointment. We can be contacted on 0116 2413801 for any queries.
Asthma ClinicOur Practice Nurses monitor Asthma Patients. Please ring the surgery on 0116 2413801 to book an appointment for your asthma review. This is usually a yearly review but sometimes a 6 monthly review may be required. Please try to remember when your review is due and book it in plenty of time, although a reminder letter will be sent to you if we haven't heard from you in good time.
Child ImmunisationsThese are held on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Once you have received your recall card for your child from Bridge Park Plaza, please contact the surgery on 0116 2413801 to book an appointment in one of these clinics.
COPD clinic with spirometryPlease contact the surgery on 0116 2413801 to book an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses for your annual COPD check up. Please try to remember when your review is due and book it in plenty of time, although you will get a reminder letter for this service.
Drug and alcohol ServicesPatients will need to see a GP for assessment before they can be referred into this service.

Learning disability health checkWe provide Learning Disability checks at Downing Drive Surgery and we will call you annually to fit you into one of these clinics.
Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-houseDr Sahota and Dr Ahmad do Minor Surgery Clinics every month, sometimes more often if necessary. Please ask at Reception or ring the surgery on 0116 2413801 for further information. You must have a normal GP appointment for assessment before being put on the waiting list for the Minor Op Clinic.
