Our Practice Nurse offers appointments to monitor warfarin dosage.

We recommend a full immunisation programme and regular checks on your child's well being and development.

Please contact the surgery on 01780 764121 to make an appointment in our Baby Clinic if immunisations are due.

Our Practice Nurses offer clinic appointments for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. You are usually invited for you review annually by letter.

Dressings can be arranged in our Nursing Clinics. Please make an appointment via Reception in advance.

Learning Disability Health Checks are performed annually by our Practice Nuring Team. Please contact the surgery to book an appointment when required.

Our Nurses can provive information regarding varied forms of contraception. Initial and new prescriptions for these are discussed and set up with the GP. Reviews and repeat prescriptions can be performed by the nurse.

Coil and implanon insertions are a separate clinic with the GP and Nurse. Initial discussions regarding these are with the GP - Dr Fitt or Dr Dronfield. Depot injections are given by the Nurse following initial prescription from the GP.

Our Doctors are able to carry out a number of small procedures in our Treatment Room. Patients should attend normal surgery for a doctor to assess the suitability for this type of surgery.

This service requires a referral by your GP

It is advisable to make an appointment via reception in advance to attend our Weight Monitoring Clinic.

The Practice can dispense to patients who live in the surrounding villages in the Practice area. Unfortunately, NHS regulations prevent us from dispensing to patients who live in Stamford.

Repeat Prescription requests can be made by:
1. Requesting online via our website (Initial login details can be requested from our website or obtained from the Practice Reception. A form of personal identification may be required.
2. By handing your prescription request slip into Dispensary Reception
3. By telephoning the Dispensary on 01780 764121 between 10.00 - 1.00pm 4. By Faxing Dispensary on 01780 761308

Our highly trained dispensers are available every day to help you with your prescritpions and any questions regarding your medication.

If you are a smoker the GP's at the surgery recommend that you stop smoking and book into a smoking cessation clinic held by our Nursing Team for support.

We offer a comprehensive Foreign Travel Immunisation Service and St Mary's is a recognised Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

Travel Health Clinics are run by the Nurses on a Tuesday and Friday from 14.30pm - 18.00pm. It is advisable to book an appointment for this clinic in advance. You will be offered travel health advice as well as vaccination requirement/schedules accordingly.

Please allow six weeks before travelling when booking an appointment.

Whatever your travel destination, it is essential that all `routine vaccinations' such as Diphtheria,Tetanus and Polio are up to date before you leave. Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccination may also be advised for some travel destinations or other vaccinations depending on your destinations and plans.
