Advanced Nurse Practitioners can provide treatment and advice for many problems for which you may have seen a GP for in the past. They can assess and examine you, make a diagnosis and provide advice and treatment including a prescription if required. They can make referrals to hospital doctors or other healthcare professionals and admit patients to hospital if required.

I joined Bowling Hall Medical Practice in March 2003 as a Business Manager, becoming a Partner in September 2007. I have a non-medical background of 18 years spent with Yorkshire Electricity. During my time at Yorkshire Electricity I held various positions including Sales Manager, Commercial Manager and Marketing Manager. This practical management experience, combined with my MBA, which I achieved in 2004 from Leeds University Business School, has provided the business focus for the practice. I am passionate about our teamworking ethos and are committed to putting patient care at the centre of everything the practice does. With the practice and our patients working in partnership I believe we can address the health needs of our patients.

This clinic is held on a Thursday morning and run by our specialist advisor to advise and monitor patients on warfarin therapy.

Asthma sufferers can make an appointment in this clinic to receive advice and support from our asthma care specialist nurse. Asthma patients are recalled annually for re assessment by the respiratory Nurses. Patients can make appointments themselves if they are experiencing problems with their disease.

This is a drop in clinic held by the health visitors offering advice and support for parents with young children aged 0 - 5 years. The clinic is run from 9.30am to 11am. If you wish to contact the Health Visiting Team directly their telephone number is 01274 322340.

Antenatal Clinic - This clinic is run by the midwives who will carry out general health checks throughout your pregnancy. It is run on a Tuesday & Wednesday afternoon by appointment only.

Post Natal Clinic - This clinic is run by one of our GP’s and a Practice Nurse for mum's and new babies. You will be contacted when your appointment is due for this clinic.

New Directions is a free and confidential drug and alcohol recovery service for adults (including offenders), families and concerned others in Bradford.They can support you with any questions or concerns you might have about prescription medications, alcohol, illegal drugs, 'dual diagnosis' and mental health, steroid use and more.

They provide information, advice, treatment and support and can meet you in a range of different venues including GP surgeries, pharmacies and other local community venues.

We provide a comprehensive service for the provision of contraceptive and sexual health screening services for registered patients.

We have a fully qualified phlebotomist who takes blood tests at the doctors request and for chronic disease monitoring purposes. She can also perform blood pressure checks and new patient health checks.

Our Health Trainer provides one to one support with our patients giving encouragement, and options to people facing a wide range of difficulties and challenges including weight management and social health and well being. These clinics are by appointment only.
