Dr Samia Khan qualified in 2001 from Birmingham University. Dr Khan has treated NHS and Private patients and enhanced her skills in Orthodontics by working as a a clinical assistant at the George Eliot Hospital for 3 years. 
Dr Khan has worked hard for since 2009 in providing high quality NHS care to the local community and surrounding areas and constantly strives to do better.

Dr Samia Khan (Sam)

Principal Dentist

Dr Samia Khan qualified in 2001 from Birmingham University. Dr Khan has treated NHS and Private patients and enhanced her skills in Orthodontics by working as a a clinical assistant at the George Eliot Hospital for 3 years. 

In 2008 in order to enhance her skills in treating anxious patients she carried out further training at the Birmingham Dental Hospital where she treated patients under sedation. 

In 2009 she started as a locum dentist treating patients in the Stonydelph area and then bought the practice in 2011. 

Dr Khan has worked hard for since 2009 in providing high quality NHS care to the local community and surrounding areas and constantly strives to do better.

 Dr. Khan is on the South Staffordshire Local Dental Committee ( LDC) aswell as on the British Dental Association (BDA) Central Counties Committee. She is also an active participant in the Cannock and Surrounds Dental Peer review Group.

Outside of dentistry she enjoys going to the yoga, thai chi and pilates. She is also actively involved with charity in the community.

Dr Samia Khan has special interests in the following:

- Straightening teeth conventionally and with short term orthodontics ( between 6-16 weeks ). 

- Advanced restorative work and is currently working towards her Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry

-Treating anxious patients without sedation ( behaviour management mainly).

- Facial Aesthetics- Anti wrinkle Treatments, Fillers and Dermapen.

Mrs Denise Harvey

Reception Supervisor

Denise has been working with us since June 2015, although she has been a patient at the practice since 1986. She has only been working in the field of dentistry since April 2014 working at another busy dental practice.

Denise's role within the practice is to greet patients and make them feel welcome and at ease. She also works behind the scenes alongside Dr Khan, ensuring the practice is running smoothly with Administration duties and diary management.

Denise loves to work within the community, hence having two qualifications working within our community and fund raising through Staffordshire County Council.

Prior to working in the field of dentistry Denise has been front of house at a school for 7 years dealing with parents and children alike and she was also responsible for running an after school club for cooking with parents and children over a 2 year period whilst working within the school.

Harminder Dhaliwal

Associate Dentist

Harminder qualified in December 1993 from UMDS London, she then went on to do vocational training at an NHS Practice in Norfolk.

She has been an Assocaite Dentist since then for both NHS and Private Practices in the West Midlands and Staffordshire Areas.

Harminder is familiar with NHS regulations and has also been an equialence trainer for overseas qualified dentist.

Harminder has 4 children and enjoys cooking, travelling and keeping fit by going to the gym/

Amy Payne

Apprentice Dental Nurse

After completing her A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Health and social Care in June 2019 Amy soon decided that a career within the dental industry would be perfect for her. 

Amy joined us here in August 2019 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse. During her time here she finds everyday fascinating and enjoys seeing the progress of patients. 

Amy enjoys to spend time with her family and to go to the gym in her spare time.

Jenna Storey

Dental Nurse

Jenna joined the practice as a trainee Dental Nurse in August 2018.

Jenna has undertaken her qualifications at Performance Through People where she gained her Level 3 National Diploma in Dental Nursing.

Since working here Jenna has gained experience in patient management, especially with young children and anxious patients and thrives to help them gain the best treatment possible. 

Outside of work Jenna is a busy mum of four and enjoys spending time with her family.

Ruth Williams

Receptionist

Ruth left high school and completed a national diploma in Animal Management.

Ruth then began a 10year career at a local childrens farm. During this time Ruth gained many skills including, communication and people skills. 

Ruth enjoys working with the public and has utilised her skills to becme a bubbly member of our reception team here at Stonydelph.
