Services

We have recently commenced a clinic for patients who are well maintained on warfarin treatment. The team consists of two lead doctors and two nurses. Appointments are by direct referral form your doctor.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Increasing numbers of people of all ages are suffering from asthma. Your doctor will make the initial diagnosis and explain your treatment. Our specially trained practice nurses will then ensure that the treatment is effective by checking inhaler techniques and measuring lung function regularly, referring to your doctor if necessary.

Our health visitors are available to give advice on child care. They also run two weekly clinics at the surgery as above. No appointment is necessary for the Thursday clinic - just bring your baby along. The practice nurse is also available during these times for vaccinations by appointment only on 0208 304 8334.

A full programme of child health surveillance is undertaken at the surgery, where the doctors work in co-operation with the health visitors to provide a comprehensive service of examinations, vaccinations and advice. Regular developmental checks for the under fives are carried our by Dr Patel and the health visitors. The doctors' child health surveillance clinic is held on Monday afternoons by appointment only.
 
 
 

This clinic is a review clinic for patients with COPD. Spirometry (lung function test) are carried out.

Dr Malone is an experienced GPwSI (GP with a special interest) in dermatology and holds a diloma in this speciality area. She already works in the boroughs of Bexley,  Bromley and Greenwhich offering GPwSI clinics (in addition to her role as a GP at the Albion Surgery). Dr Malone is accredited to remove low risk basal cell cacinomas in additionto general dermatology worlk.

This service requires a referral by your GP

The practice nurses run a comprehensive travel clinic and are happy to give advice on vaccinations, malaria tablets and any medication you may need. We hold stocks of routine vaccination like typhoid and hepatitis. Please make an appointment in good time as some vaccination schedules need to start at least eight weeks before you are due to travel. We are an approved yellow fever vaccination centre. This vaccine, at a fee, is available to our patients as well as people who are not registered with the surgery.
