The clinic usually runs on a Wednesday and provides  the following services:

The doctor will examine and assess your baby  prior to the first immunisations
Advice for any parents with concerns about immunisations
All childhood  immunisations as well as catch-up programmes for childrenwho have missed immunisations for any reason
General advice and dealing with any concerns

Diagnosis and management of patients  with COPD ( emphysema)
Appropriate lung function tests
Monitoring response to medication and side effects  related  to medication
Optimisiing treatment and maintaining independence
Annual immunisations and preventative measures
Referral to exercise  programmes  if appropriate

Treatment and management of leg  ulcers and  wounds
Prevention of leg ulcers

The practice team recongnises that substance misuse is a common problem in the community. We have established a Combine Clinic Service with the South Warwickshire County Drug Team in order to assess and treat addictive problems that are suitable for primary care service. We aim to provide a service in line with guidance and current evidence for the management of drug misuse and dependence

We do all our minor  surgery in a modern, clean, high spec facility which meets the highest quality requirements
The procedures are carried  out under local anaesthetic
please remember the partners  have different skills in certain areas and your  doctor may refer you to one of the other doctors for the procedure to be carried  out.

WINNERS OF THE AHA DISPENSARY OF THE YEAR 2009 AWARD
We are able to dispense to patients  living more than 1,6  km from the surgery .We also manage all repeat prescription requests in the practice.We are able to offer many of the services and information you would  expect  to receive in a high street pharmacy .We are however  not a pharmacy and so we can not  sell over the counter products such as cough medicines  etc
 

Warfarin monitoring clinic for Arden Medical Centre, Bridge House Medical Centre and Rother House Medical Centre.
Test is done by fingerprick method.
Warfarin dosage adjusted according to INR result.
Home visit testing available for house bound patients.
The practice provides an in house phlebotomy service for Rother House Patients only. This is on an appointment basis. There is no sit and wait service

We offer a comprehensive smoking cessation service. Initially you will be required to collect and complete a questionnaire. These packs are available from reception.  Once you questionnaire is returned the nurse will offer an appointment.
We offer appropriate replacement therapies and counselling to maximise chances of succeeding.  

General advice on foreign travel.
Appropriate vaccination and certificates.
Malaria prevention.
Please try and ensure plenty of time to complete courses of vaccination before travel.
Not all vaccinations are available on the NHS.  Please check charges with dispensary or nurses.
