We are able to offer on site anticoagulation monitoring. Our staff are trained to offer you a service normally provided in a hospital setting. Please ring reception on 020 8844 1323 for further details.

Asthma is a very common condition affecting approximately 3.4 million people in the UK, including 1.5 million children (i.e. 1 in 7 children). It can start at any time in life - most commonly in childhood, but sometimes even in old age.
Symptoms typically include:

Coughing, particularly at night in children
Wheezing, or a whistling noise in the chest
Getting short of breath
A tight feeling in the chest

but you won't necessarily get all of these symptoms, and sometimes only occasionally. Symptoms are often worst first thing in the morning or after exercise.
If you suffer from asthma, you would probably benefit from seeing our nurse who can provide information about asthma and how to deal with it. They can also look at the type(s) of inhaler(s) you are using and provide advice about how best to use them.
